Beach Day at Fort Zachary Taylor Beach
Key west has a handful of beaches but Fort Zachary Taylor Beach is by far the best. Fort Zachary Historic State Park is home to the best beach in Key West and one of the few places in the Keys where you can experience a natural, sandy beach. The beach has clear, turquoise waters, making it an ideal spot for swimming and snorkeling. There’s a cafe on site and the Chickee Hut where you can rent snorkeling gear, umbrellas and chairs. This is the perfect beach to catch some UV’s along with gorgeous Instagram shots. It only costs $6.50 per car and you’re free to swim, snorkel, and lounge all day long!
