Look no further than Joshua Tree for a relaxing & wholesome bachelorette party destination! If you’re interested in planning a low-key bachelorette weekend with a desert oasis vibe, Joshua Tree will not disappoint. This city is known for its gorgeous landscape, enchanting rock formations, scenic hiking, and vibrant nightlife. Whether your group seeks adventure or a weekend of tranquility, there’s plenty of unique activities to choose from.

Nestled in the heart of the California desert, Joshua Tree is a unique, bohemian, and serene destination with world-famous landscapes, outdoor activities, and a laid-back vibe that is perfect for creating a bach party for the books.

What To Do:

For the bride who loves a good hike, stargazing, and exploring art and history, she will be thrilled to bach it up in Joshua Tree. At the heart of it all is Joshua Tree National Park, a must-visit destination for its stunning rock formations, iconic Joshua trees, and incredible hiking trails. Hiking options like Hidden Valley, Ryan Mountain, and Barker Dam provide breathtaking views and opportunities for connection, reflection, and group bonding.

If hiking isn't her thing, Joshua Tree is perfect for activities like hummer tours and private yoga retreats, If you crew is more creative, the local art scene is alive and well in Joshua Tree. The area has lots of cool art to explore, from the world famous Crochet Museum to the Transmission Sculptures.

For bachelorettes and brides looking for relaxation, Joshua Tree has plenty of unique accommodations, from cozy desert cabins to luxurious boutique retreats. Whether you’re unwinding in a modern spa, staying in a stylish vacation rental, or camping under the stars, Joshua Tree is sure to impress.

When To Visit:

Joshua Tree National Park is in the Mojave and Colorado deserts, providing a desert climate that is sunshiney year-round. The most comfortable time to visit is during the fall (October to November) and spring (March to May), when temperatures hover between 60°F and 80°F. This time of year is perfect for hiking, exploring, and enjoying the outdoors before it gets too hot. Summers are extremely spicy, with temps reaching into the 100s, though evenings cool down significantly. We don’t recommend going in the summer, but you do you, boo. Winters are mild during the day, but chilly at night, offering great opportunities for cozy and chill parties by a bonfire under the stars.

How To Get There:

Getting to Joshua Tree is pretty simple. The closest major airport is Palm Springs International Airport, which is about 50 minutes away. From there, you can rent a car to explore all that Joshua Tree has to offer. Driving through the desert is an activity in itself, with incredible scenery, vast landscapes and natural wonders along the way.

Where To Stay:

Joshua Tree offers a variety of accommodation options, ranging from glamping to boutique lodges to luxury desert resorts, allowing groups to unwind in style.

Whether you’re hiking through iconic rock formations, stargazing in one of the darkest skies in the United States, exploring local art galleries, or simply connecting with your closest friends in a sweet and stunning desert setting, Joshua Tree provides a memorable destination for a once-in-a-lifetime bachelorette party.
