I can't believe it, but it's already been three months since my husband, Kevin, and I tied the knot! I launched Stag & Hen just two years after Kevin and I started dating and throughout all of it, he has been the biggest support system a business-owner could ask for. So of course, when he proposed, my answer was a big YES!
Kevin and I decided to do things a bit differently for our wedding. Rather than a traditional wedding ceremony followed by a reception, we decided to get married in a small, intimate ceremony at the Travis County Courthouse in Austin with our families by our sides. The next weekend, we hosted a dinner party in our hometown of Houston at one of our favorite restaurants, La Lucha.
This approach was perfect for Kevin and I! It was casual, laid-back and so much less stressful than planning a traditional wedding. We wouldn't have done it any differently and I couldn't be more pleased with how our celebration turned out.
