Visit Jackson Square and the French Market
No trip to New Orleans is complete without a stroll through the French Market and the historic Jackson Square. The French Market offers six-blocks of souvenir shops, a flea market and food stalls. Once you're done browsing the local goods, head across the street to the historic Jackson Square where you'll find street performers, tarot-card readers and artists. At night, you can even get your palm read by candlelight (spooky!). Before you leave, make sure to get a photo in front of the picturesque St. Louis Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in the United States!
