NEW ORLEANS BACHELORETTE PARTY GUIDE
From the notorious nightlife, fantastic food scene and historic charm, it's no surprise this southern city tops the list for most popular bachelorette party destinations. Whether you're looking to party non-stop or just want to kick back and relax, New Orleans has it all.
New Orleans, or NOLA as we like to call it, is the ultimate destination for an unforgettable bachelorette trip. The crazy unique mix of culture, music, history, food, and nightlife makes it impossible not to love New Orleans. Known for its rich history and gorgeous architecture, your pictures will be absolutely insta-worthy. There’s delicious creole cuisine on every corner and live jazz music around every bend. New Orleans makes the perfect backdrop for a bride-to-be’s final fling, no matter what she likes to do or eat.
What To Do:
With endless activities, amazing dining options, and lively nightlife, New Orleans is known for being a hot spot that brides and bachelorettes from all over the country love to visit. A NOLA bachelorette party in this iconic city wouldn’t be complete without experiencing the French Quarter, the historic heart of New Orleans. Complete with cobblestone streets (do not wear heels, we repeat DO NOT WEAR HEELS!), quirky shops, and wildly talented street performers, the energy in New Orleans is completely contagious. If your crew wants to really do NOLA, you have to do a night out on Bourbon Street. This famous strip in the French Quarter is known for being wild and crazy, with bars and strip clubs lining several blocks. Be sure to wear your bachelorette gear and accessories, and we bet you won’t have to pay for a thing!
If the bride loves to shut down a piano bar, Pat O’Brian’s is the spot, made famous by its dueling pianos and potent Hurricane drink! With a major live music scene, you can pop into just about any bar and soak in some authentic jazz and blues tunes. After the last call, head to Cafe Du Monde for late night beignets. There’s usually a line, but it is totally worth the wait!
When To Visit:
New Orleans enjoys a coastal climate with mild winters, warm springs, and long, hot sunny summers. The best time to visit is spring (March through May) and fall (September through November) when the temperatures are comfortable, and the city pops off with festivals, including Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest. Summers will be hot and humid, but are totally doable if you’re looking for a lively trip to a southern hot-spot.
How To Get There:
Travel to New Orleans is convenient, with Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport serving as the main hub connecting the city to the rest of the United States. Once you arrive, New Orleans is a walkable, accessible, and easy-to-navigate city. Streetcars, rideshares, and guided tours are readily available all throughout the city.
